LAKSHADWEEP / LACCADIVES

Lakshadweep - Laccadives
Popping, Jigging, Trolling
Lakshadweep is a tropical archipelago of 36 atolls and coral reefs in the Laccadive Sea, off the coast of Kerala, India. Not all of the islands are inhabited, and only a few are open to visitors (permits required). Kavaratti, one of the more developed islands, is home to dozens of mosques, including the ornately decorated Ujra Mosque, as well as Kavaratti Aquarium, showcasing regional fish, shark and coral species.

This place is so pristine it is unbelievable.

There is not much sport fishing or any commercial fishing in the area,we target the species we want – with the GT  and the napoleon wrasse being the most welcome by catch – there is no doubt that the longer we can venture away from the inhabited islands the better the fishing grounds are getting.

Therefore, fishing in the Laccadives is all about getting to the these remote islands – and  getting the special permissions to go there as a foreigner is not easy task .

Fishing in Laccadives is every anglers dream !!! Check out gallery !!!
